Pre-Approvals Available

Before you begin shopping for your new home, it is very important to get pre-approved first. Many real estate agents require this before beginning the search for your new home. Plus, it gives you a significant advantage when negotiating the purchase of your dream home.

Application Process

The application will ask you questions about the home and your finances and takes less than 20 minutes to complete. As soon as you've finished the application Member First Mortgage will review your request for instant approval. If your application is approved online, they will ask you for a deposit to cover the cost of the appraisal on your home so that we can begin to process your request immediately. This deposit will be credited towards your closing fees at closing. Items you will need for your application are:

      • Current pay stubs covering the most recent 30 days
      • W-2's for the last two years
      • Your last two months financial statements
      • Homeowners insurance information
      • If you are self employed, you will need a copy of the last two years federal tax return with original signatures
      • Depending on your situation, additional information may be required

After completing your application, a Mortgage Consultant will contact you to introduce himself or herself and to answer any questions you may have. Your Mortgage Consultant is a mortgage expert and will provide help and guidance along the way. If your request wasn't approved online, he or she will ask you for any information required to make a decision about your loan.

If you are purchasing a new home, the Mortgage Consultant will also contact the Real Estate Broker or the seller so that they'll know whom to contact with questions.

Whether it is your first mortgage or your third, you can trust your credit union loan officers and our partner, Member First Mortgage to guide you through the process. For additional program or rate details, please contact us.
